She also recorded and performed live with top performing artists including Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Carrie Underwood, Jessye Norman, Sumi Jo and The Who.
Heather teaches flute at California State University, Northridge. An entrepreneur at heart, she introduced “Audition Boot Camp” to help musicians win auditions and is currently writing a blog “#NoStarvingMusicians,” championing young musicians to take control of their financial destiny.
For 27 years, Heather has performed and recorded on a 10K silver keyed Powell flute (which she jokes is the longest relationship she has ever had.) She also plays on a Braun piccolo, and Yamaha alto and bass flutes.
